GENERAL INFORMATION

- We are constantly looking for Match Writers.  We do NOT have late results, but as the fed has grown recently it has been challenging.  New, Veteran, who cares?  Help out.  We only ask everyone to write 1 match per show, so if you sign up you aren't being overwhelmed.

- VWF League is a ranking system based off of wins, losses, and other activities on shows.  It does not have any bearing on results, but is more a fun history of how you are doing.

- VWF Prestige is based off of the activity of the belt, based off of wins, losses, title defenses, and other activities on shows.  League and Prestige results are posted after every show.  Results and information on how scoring is based is located at http://www.thevwf.net/league.php

- Application information can be found at http://www.thevwf.net/join.php

- Follow The VWF on Twitter @thevwf or http://www.twitter.com/thevwf

ROSTER / ROLEPLAY GUIDELINES

- VWF Crucifiction is Monday.  Dates and times should be referred to the Crucifiction Card on the main page located at:  http://www.thevwf.net/crucifictioncard.html

- Only 2 roleplays per wrestler per match.

- Roleplay deadlines are 11:59 PM CST, the day before the show. Is it a dick move to post a roleplay 5 minutes before a deadline? Maybe. Is it legal? Yep. Sorry. Life sucks that way sometimes. Nothing I can do about it. In case you are wondering WHEN 11:59 PM is in the world of The VWF, it is Central Standard time. Which is the time it is in Chicago, Illinois, USA, where VWF Headquarters is "headquartered." London is 6 hours ahead of The VWF.  You can view Timezone differenes at http://www.thevwf.net/timezones.php

- You can have a "real" wrestler (EX: Goldburg, The Rock, etc) or a "made-up" wrestler (EX: George the Garbageman). It doesn't matter either way, and doesn't affect how you will be handled. Whatever you do, have fun. The reason for this is that over the years, we have made it a point to accept all applicants, regardless of gimmick or talent, with only 1 exception in 11 years.

- You cannot use any other wrestler in your roleplays without their permission. You may make fun of them, but you cannot use them directly

- The exception to that is the on screen characters which The VWF uses. They are:

VWF Owner The Viking King (talks in third person)
VWF Backstage Personality Rico
Kyle Bacon - Interviewer (Pussy)
Lorie McWiggletits - VK's Secretary / Interviewer
Tina Peterson - Ring Announcer
Joey Styles - Announcer
P. Lickin - Announcer (Pervert)
Hardcore Soda - Offical VWF Beverage

- If you feel that you lost a match in error, you can dispute it. I won't be able to reverse the decision, however, you can make your case to me. However, if you want an intelligent, respectful and thoughtful response, I would ask that you do the same. Don't do it publically (on a board). You can e-mail, PM or IM me, and we can discuss it further from that point on.

- You must roleplay or post regularly. If you need time off from roleplaying, let me know, and I can make sure you have a spot when you come back. If you show up, roleplay twice then leave for a month for no reason, come back and do it all over again, I’m not going to continue to add you to the roster, book you, take you off the roster, then put you back on over and over. I'm talking to you Tim Rage.

SHOUTBOX GUIDELINES

- Since you must have a forum account to post on the shoutbox, all forum etiquette applies to the shoutbox as well.

- No advertising is allowed in the Shoutbox for other feds.  Please use the Advertisement board located at http://thevwf.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=advert

- No pornographic links are to be placed in the shoutbox.

- Abusive behavior will be weighed on a case by case basis.

FORUM / GENERAL GUIDELINES

- There are multiple boards that have expanded over the years. We’ve come a long way from the days of one RP Board and one OOC Board. All boards are now linked on one main page for them all. Please use the appropriate boards for the appropriate uses. Post roleplays on the correct board for a show or a pay per view, and post OOC and random stuff on the appropriate boards as well. - The VWF has a long-standing policy of non-censorship. If you swear, fine. If you act like a jerk, go ahead. However, if you come out and attack someone, I will also allow them to defend themselves. There is alot of joking around among members who have been in The VWF for anywhere from 4 to 10 years. They know each other as well as you can know someone who is roleplaying as a character that they wish they were, and is probably the exact opposite of what they are in real life. All I ask is use your common sense to think of when you might "cross the line." If you do, you'll know. THAT is where I will step in.

- If you think a member is being especially mean to you, just E-mail, PM or IM me, and I'll talk to him or her about it.

- The The VWF reserves the right to strip any wrestler of any title at any time. The VWF also reserves the right to fire any wrestler at any time. Also, while VWF members are not allowed to use another wrestler in their RPs without permission, The Viking King may use your wrestler for interaction in a show or oleplay. He will NEVER make you look foolish, and will attempt to be true to your character as much as possible.

- Please do not come out and automatically demand title shots, especially World Title shots. Nobody will received a title shot, be awarded a title, handed a title, given a title, or have any VWF Championship belt.   The reason is that I have had guys come out over the years, wrestle a match or two, are good enough for a title shot, get it, win it, and then immediately flake or quit on the fed.  It degrades the title, and is an insult to the talent on the roster that has been around, loyally, and some guy shows up out of nowhere and wins a title.  It won't happen.  Don't ask for the title shot at all.  It won't happen.

- Have fun, it's a game, don't take things too seriously.

- You may be confused as to some of the inside jokes here. There are ALOT of them. If you have trouble keeping up, go here: http://www.thevwf.net/glossary.php . That should help a little, and as the vets remember stuff that should be added, it will be added.

- If you are concerned, curious, or confused on current storylines, go to http://www.thevwf.net/storylines.php . I, per a conversation about it online (credit to Seth Rage) decided it would help out to keep track. I will constantly update it as things change. If you feel I have something wrong, or need to add/subtract something, e-mail or PM me, and I'll take care of it.

- If you have a VikingTron made, it is at http://www.thevwf.net/Roster/pictures

- If you have a Trading Card made, it is at http://fans.thevwf.net/cards

CHAMPIONSHIP BELT STRUCTURE

VWF World Heavyweight Championship
- You must have at least 7 wins under your belt to get a World Title shot, unless otherwise earned via tournament, Royal Rumble, or other VWF event.
- Represents the entire world.
- The World Heavyweight Belt is the highest honor bestowed upon anyone in The VWF.  It is a reward to dedication, consistency, and hard work.  More likely then not, storylines affect this belt than not, so that's why rookies are kept away from it for the most part.  I feel it is degrading to a fed and a belt if someone skates in, wins the belt, and then just leaves.  It's happened, and it will NOT happen here.
- Only Heavyweights can compete for this belt.  230 lbs. and up, unless a shot is otherwise earned via tournament, Royal Rumble, or other VWF event.

Intercontinental Championship
- Primary singles championship.
- Anyone on the roster can compete for this belt, regardless of weight or sex with 2 matches under their belt.
- Represents North and South America.

- Anyone on the roster can compete for this belt, regardless of weight or sex with 2 matches under their belt.

Cabo Wabo Middleweight Championship
- Specialty championship for smaller, high flying wrestlers.
- Anyone on the roster can compete for this belt, regardless of weight or sex with 2 matches under their belt.
