| Entrance:
"I Stand Alone" by Godsmack begins to play over the arena's speakers. The cameras focus on the entrance ramp as the music plays and green strobe lights flash around the entrance way, where a figure is slowly raising out of the floor (picture Kurt Angle's TNA entrance). The lights are angled in just the right way that the figure looks like a silhouette and you can't tell who it is. As the intro to the song builds up to the drum beats, an explosion of pyro flies up from the stage and the lighting changes to reveal Jace Gryphon. Jace steps through the smoke of the pyros and makes his way down the ring and rolls in under the bottom rope.

| Background:
Jace Gryphon doesn't fit in. Anywhere. Well, maybe that seedy bar on the edge of town where they can't keep a bouncer for longer than a week at a time. He could be classified as the "outcast". The "loner". Or even the "underprivileged". Whatever label given to him, one thing stands true. Jace Gryphon WILL NOT back down. Jace Gryphon worked at the train yards in Altoona, Pennsylvania for seven years before he was fired over a discrepancy that had nothing to do with him. He was framed. With this in the back of his mind at all times, and nothing else to do, he focused his energies on the only other thing he knew how to do. Fight. After a luckless string of joining wrestling federations only to have them close weeks after hiring him, he finally found a home in Insane Championship Wrestling (IcW). He fought his way to the top, quickly obtaining the World Heavyweight Championship, and then teaming with Hardcore Champion Hardcore Timmay, took the Tag Team Championship. This two man stable seemed unstoppable until they finally turned on each other, leading to a PPV event where it was Championship vs. Championship, in which Jace Gryphon won, taking hold of both major championships in the federation. The next week, the federation closed it's doors. Jace Gryphon went into retirement. That is, until now. |
