The Pyros hit at the top of the ramp all the way down to the ring and on the ring posts as The Royal Rumble begins. The crowd are going bonkers all over the arena and there isn't a fan in his seat in this packed 20,000 person arena.

JOEY STYLES: Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen. I am Joey Styles. This is...
P. LICKIN: Joey's father.
JOEY STYLES: You are not my father! That's not true. That's impossible.
P. LICKIN: Look within your feelings, and you know it is true. Come over to the Lickin side!

DEVAN NOX SEGMENT

In the makeshift offices of the VWF at the Verizon Center. 2 hours before The Royal Rumble is set to begin...

Lorie McWiggletits: Sir, sorry to interrupt, but Devan Nox is on the phone. She says its urgent!

The Viking King presses a button on the phone to hear the call on speaker.

VK: Devan, what's up? You excited for your first Rumble?

Devan: I'm in Miami.

VK: Excuse Him?!

Devan: Yeah, Miami! According to the airline, someone called last night and cancelled my flight!

VK: No really, where are you?

Devan: And the bigger problem is that there isn't a direct flight that can get me there in time.

VK: So you're telling Him that you aren't gonna make it? This isn't good for you. You're the Cabo-Wabo Champion! You need to be here!

Devan: Well, unless you have the technology to beam me up, we're both out of luck, boss!

VK: Well, it is what it is, but if The Viking King were you, He'd find a way to get here.

Devan: Believe me...I've tried almost everything.

The Viking King shakes his head in frustration.

Camera cuts to a commercial before the Royal Rumble is about to begin.........

DEVAN NOX SEGMENT

(The VWF returns from that short commercial plug, it shows The Viking King walking down the hallway with a briefcase in hand. He walks into a lockerroom, where Maverick Jones is sitting, lacing up his boots. Simon Stone stands behind him, tossing an apple in the air and catching it...)

MAVERICK: Heading out right now... what do you want?

SIMON STONE: And why did you ask me to meet you here?

VIKING KING: Well... it's been in the dark long enough. That Money in the Bank Title Shot you guys earned last month? Well... guess what...

MAVERICK: Chicken butt?

VIKING KING:.... It's for the Britannia Heavyweight Championship. Soon as you two knuckleheads decide when to cash it in, let The Viking King know.

DEVAN NOX / MAXXX HARDCORE SEGMENT

Backstage at the Verizon Center. Devan Nox is walking the back hallways. Maxxx Hardcore is coming from the oppposite direction.

Maxxx: Devan! Where have you been? Afraid to get roughed up out there tonight?

Devan: No, just issues you with my flight.

Maxxx: Yeah, you probably shoudn't book those flights for the day of the event!

Devan: Yeah, you're probably right.....how did you know when my flight was?

Maxxx: I just assumed it was.

Devan: Yeah, well, I'm trying to find Viking. I just hope he doesn't strip my belt for this.

Maxxx: Well, I'm sure he'll understand. It wasn't like it was totally your fault.

Devan: It wasn't ANY of my fault.

Maxxx: Well, if you'd been filming with me last night instead of playing in South Beach....

Devan: Excuse me?

Maxxx: Just saying...

Devan: You know Maxxx...I'm trying really hard to like you, but I'm seriously about to give up on it! You really are an ass!

Devan storms off.

Maxxx: (under his breath) You have no idea....no idea!

JONNY CEDRONE SEGMENT

**--After leaving Maxxx's side, the cameras pick up in the back as we see Jonny Cedrone sitting in a chair, bent over lacing up his boots. The fans go nuts. After a moment, he finishes with his boots and sits back up, there’s a knock on the door.--**

Jonny Cedrone: “Come in!”

**--Off camera we hear the door open then close. Cedrone looks up, sees who it was that came in, grins and stands up--**

Cedrone: “How’d I know you’d be here soon?”

**--Into the camera shot comes Sara McKenzie who’s sporting a grin of her own--**

Sara McKenzie: “Because you know that I’m always there to get to the bottom of things dear.”

Cedrone: “What’s there to get to the bottom of that I haven’t already covered sweetheart?”

Sara: “Well after your little interview with Bacon in the ring a little while ago, you left everyone asking the same question.”

Cedrone: “What’s that?”

Sara: “What was the self-lesson that you gave yourself in your visit to the ‘dark room?’”

Cedrone: “Oh, I did kinda leave that hanging didn’t I?”

Sara: “Yes you did. You said that your conscience told you ‘you are who you are’ what did that mean?”

Cedrone: “Ah, ‘you are who you are’ could mean a lot of things, but the way I read it was like this. There’s a reason why people are the way they are. There’s a reason why I am where I am at this point in time of my career, and that reason is my confidence. Ya see Sara, in this sport you HAVE to be confident, if you’re not, you’ll get eaten alive and not a truer statement has ever been said, let me tell ya.”

“What a difference nine months can make, huh?”

Sara: “What do you mean?”

Cedrone: “Nine months ago I had all the support from the boys in the back, everyone voiced their support saying how much I deserve to be the World Champion. Well, somewhere along the way, somewhere in the course of nine months, apparently the tides changed. There’s a bunch of grumblings saying how much I need to lose the Title, how I’ve overstayed my welcome as World Champion. And I admit, all those grumblings…they’ve taken their toll on my confidence. Maybe Scott’s been right all the while, maybe I care TOO much about how other people think about me and what I do, well no more. My friends, my family, my fans and myself are the only ones I’m concerned about makin’ happy from now on. Everyone else can stick it!”

**--Pop--**

Sara: “Do you have any idea who’s been downing you and your Title reign?”

Cedrone: “I don’t know exactly who’s been sayin’ it, all I know is that they can keep sayin’ it all they want, apparently they’re just jealous of the fact that they’re not where I’m at today.”

Sara: “The Royal Rumble match itself is coming up, a match full of men AND women who strive to be where you’re at, who want nothing more than to be the VWF World Heavyweight Champion, do you have any comments for them? Do you think that any of the participants were the one or ones that says you don’t deserve to be in the spot you’re in?”

Cedrone: “Sara honey, it could be anybody or even everybody for as much as I know or even care. But as for my comments to the participants of the Royal Rumble, I wish every one of you the best of luck, and may the best person win, but be prepared to face the best this sport has to offer, whether it be me or Scott DiBiase. I have news for ya though, if you’re facin’ me…it could very well be the old Jonny Cedrone. Sara, I’ve decided to take matters into my own hand from now on. If it makes me look like a heel, then so be it, as long as I’m still World Champion, then it’s all that matters.”

Sara: “And as far as the World Championship and Scott DiBiase goes, do you have any final comments about your match up tonight?”

Cedrone: “Scott, I said it earlier, I still respect you, and you’re still my friend, but understand that the VWF World Championship’s on the line, anything goes. And believe me, I know that the same goes for your end as well, I couldn’t ask for it any other way to be honest. I will stop at nothin’ to keep this Championship in my possession Scott…nothin’.”

Sara: “A determined Jonny Cedrone ladies and gentlemen!”

Cedrone: “Remember this, and this too can be a message for the Rumble participants, as I said before, skills and talent GETS you to the top, it’s hard work, dedication, determination and heart that KEEPS you at the top. That’s why I’ve been at the top for the past nine months, turning back challenge after challenge. This time, just like the last time and any other time we’ve met, will not be an easy task to pull off. Scott’s the number one contender for a reason, because he’s earned it and he’s more than deserving of it, and he’s one of the best this sport has to offer. ONE of the best, I’m ALSO one of the best in the sport. That’s why Scott and I were voted as feud of the year, not only because we’re the top dogs, but because we put on the best match of any show, whether we’re bitter enemies or best of friends and tonight will be no different Sara! Two years…two years worth of feuding culminates to right here tonight. Two years worth of frustration, hatred, respect and friendship all adds up and comes to a head here tonight in what some people look at as ‘the last dance.’ I personally think there’ll be plenty more where that comes from, but what do I know? All I know is that whenever our feud DOES come to end, it will bring an end to an era, no question about it. But as for tonight, Scott, as much as I would like to see you as World Champion, I like seein’ myself as Champion a little more. Good luck and may the best man win.”

**--Cedrone nonchalantly went back to getting ready for his match as Sara just turns back to the camera--**

Sara: “Well…there ya have it. Your VWF World Heavyweight Champion, ‘The King of Sexy’ Jonny Cedrone. He’s locked, cocked and ready to unload! Joey, back to you!”

**--The scene cuts to an advertisement--**

(-(-( JOEY STYLES: Can you believe what we have just seen, P? Dan Ryan has pulled off a massive victory and has earned the right to headline Bloodlust to challenge for the World Heavyweight championship!

P. LICKIN: It should have been me, Styles! I should have won the Royal Rumble and gone on to Bloodlust to win the World Heavyweight championship!

JOEY STYLES: Are you serious?!

P. LICKIN: You know I once spent three years as a wrestler?

JOEY STYLES: ...I find that a little hard to believe P.

P. LICKIN: Would you believe two?

JOEY STYLES: No.

P. LICKIN: How about an hour with your mom, and two hours washing myself afterwards?

JOEY STYLES: ...

P. LICKIN: I hope I wasn't out of line with that Mom crack.

JOEY STYLES: ...

P. LICKIN: She takes a Lickin and keeps on tickin'!

JOEY STYLES: P!

The spotlights all focus upon the Hell in a Cell structure, which begins its slow descent from the rafters.

JOEY STYLES: We have a new number one contender for the World Heavyweight championship, but now the demonic structure is lowering to surround the ring and the ringside area as it is time for our best of three falls main event to determine who will go to Bloodlust as the World Heavyweight champion!

The lights go out and are replaced red and white spotlights as "I Am Perfection" by Cage9 hits the sound system. Dash St. John steps onto the stage to a decent pop from the crowd and gestures towards the curtain as Scott DiBiase walks out onto the stage, illuminated by a red maple leaf-shaped spotlight. Flanked by Dash St. John as he slowly walks down the aisle, Scott smiles and flashes a handful of $100 bills, which he tosses into the crowd as he slaps hands with random fans in the front row.

JOEY STYLES: The challenger is looking confident here tonight in what may very well be the last shot he receives at the World Heavyweight championship. For two years he has been embroiled in a bitter rivalry with the current World Heavyweight champion but, ever since The End, they seem to have developed a nascent friendship based upon the mutual respect they share for each other.

Scott climbs up the ring steps and steps through the top and middle ropes to enter the ring. He climbs the turnbuckle facing the camera and gives the crowd a grin and nods his head before lifting his fist in the air to pump up the crowd. With a pop from the crowd, Scott jumps down from the turnbuckle and leans back in the corner.

JOEY STYLES: Scott DiBiase was the winner of the 2010 King of the Ring tournament, earning him the right to be the number one contender to the VWF World championship at The End but, somewhere along the way, Scott DiBiase began to see the light and started to make a change for the better.

P. LICKIN: Yeah, and what did that get him? About two months worth of losses under his belt. If had just stayed right where he was and kept doing things for himself and not pander to these peons, like I said, we'd be referring to him as the VWF World champion and not the challenger!

JOEY STYLES: Well tonight, he has another opportunity to get his hands on the VWF World championship...

The lights in the arena go out.

JOEY STYLES: ...as he takes on this man!

The fans are all abuzz with excitement as James Hetfield's vocals cry out "'Cause what don't kill ya, make ya more strong!" and the opening riffs of "Broken, Beat & Scarred" bring every last fan to their feet as a spotlight focuses at the top of the ramp where the VWF World Heavyweight champion is standing.

JOEY STYLES: And there we have the VWF World Heavyweight champion! Jonny Cedrone has undoubtedly weathered through many storms throughout his entire career, he's even thwarted his challenger here tonight a couple times, but will he be able to do it again? Will he be able to turn away yet another challenge? Will he be able to turn away such a determined challenger as Scott DiBiase is here tonight?

Wearing the World Title around his waist; he stands there, looking out at the crowd with a smile on his face and. after a moment, he walks down the ramp, getting more and more pumped up as he goes along, slapping some outstretched hands along the way. He reaches the ring steps and once more, as he reaches the top, he looks out at the crowd who are now at a fever pitch. He walks along the apron, wipes his feet and hops over the top rope into the ring. Once inside he ascends each turnbuckle, yelling something inaudible, playing to the crowd, throwing his fists up into the air, patting the World Title then pointing out to the crowd.

RING ANNOUNCER: The following contest is for the VWF WORLD... HEAVYWEIGHT... CHAMPIONSHIP and is scheduled for the best two out of three falls! Introducing first, the challenger: from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada... weighing in at two hundred and forty-eight pounds... he is the 2010 KING... OF THE... RING: Scott DiBiase!

The crowd regales the challenger with a decent pop.

RING ANNOUNCER: His opponent... from Las Vegas, Nevada... weighing in at two hundred and forty pounds... he is YOUR VWF WORLD... HEAVYWEIGHT... CHAMPION: "The King of Sexy" Jonny Cedrone!

The crowd erupts while the champion acknowledged the respect and adulation being showered upon him, before unfastening the World championship belt and slowly folding the straps.

P. LICKIN: The champ looks like he could be kissing that title good-bye, Styles.

JOEY STYLES: You should know to never count the champion out, P. He's taken on the likes of Crimson Lightening, "The Goddess" Alexia and the longest reigning World champion in VWF history: Mr. Fantastic in order to realize his dreams of being the World champion.

P. LICKIN: Don't forget the Masked Bastard, Styles! That gutless coward made the champ's life a living hell for the better part of a year!

JOEY STYLES: But the champ overcame those odds, he fought through all of the adversity and, despite having that perpetual target on his back, he has proven to each and every one of us why he deserves to hold that prestigious belt. Yes, that list also includes the current challenger and, yes, Scott DiBiase demonstrated the lengths he was willing to go to in order to get this shot but if there is one thing we have learned from their last epic encounter at The End, it's that these two men will stop at nothing to put on the best match they possibly can.

P. LICKIN: Seriously, Styles... how much is DiBiase paying you to say that?

Jonny hands the World championship belt to the referee, who holds it in front of the challenger before raising it above his head and displays it to everybody in attendance. He then hands the belt to the ring announcer who exits the cell and fastens the door closed with chain and a padlock and the ref calls for the bell to start the match.

*DING*

The two men circle each other for a moment, each glancing out into the crowd before locking up in a collar-and-elbow tie up until DiBiase pulls Cedrone into a side headlock, but the champion throws the challenger into the ropes. DiBiase rebounds off the ropes and takes the champion off his feet with a shoulderblock before bouncing off the ropes once more, but Cedrone gets to his feet and uses DiBiase's momentum to take the challenger down with a powerslam. Wasting no time, Cedrone scales to the top rope and, when DiBiase reaches his feet, he jumps off and takes the challenger down with a missile dropkick. Cedrone covers DiBiase, hooking the leg, as the ref makes the count 1... 2... kickout.

Cedrone pulls DiBiase to his feet and applies a front facelock before shifting to a side headlock, but the challenger counters with a back suplex. The ref begins to count both men out but DiBiase gets back to his feet at the count of four and backs into the corner, sizing up the champion. He rushes forward and drops a knee to the champion's head and then goes back to the corner for another pass, but Cedrone moves out of the way and gets back to his feet while DiBiase lies on the mat, holding his knee. Cedrone grabs DiBiase's leg and drops a series of elbows to the back of the challenger's knee, before locking on the figure four leglock. Cedrone has the hold locked in tight and DiBiase cries out in pain, failing to realize his shoulders are flat on the mat. The ref counts 1... 2... DiBiase gets his shoulder up. Cedrone pulls back on DiBiase's leg but the challenger refuses to submit, then the champion nails DiBiase in the head and he falls back onto the mat. The ref counts 1... 2... DiBiase pulls his shoulder up but Cedrone nails him in the head one more time 1... DiBiase gets his shoulder up and pulls himself close enough to the ropes to grab on, forcing the champion to break the hold.

Cedrone pulls DiBiase away from the ropes and attempts to reapply the figure four, but the challenger kicks the champion into the ropes, but as Cedrone bounces off the ropes, he grabs DiBiase's legs and twists him onto his stomach into a Boston Crab. DiBiase cries out in pain and drags himself towards the ropes. Cedrone breaks the hold and drops a pair of fists into the challenger's head. DiBiase rolls the to center of the ring and doubles the champion over with a shot to the midsection and delivers a chop which sends the champion reeling into the ropes. When DiBiase moves in to capitalize, Cedrone fires back with a chop of his own and DiBiase retaliates by grabbing the champion in a headlock and dragging him down to the mat. Cedrone's shoulders are down only long enough for the referee to make a one count and the champion grabs the challenger with head scissors. DiBiase releases his headlock and flips over into a pinning position 1... 2... the champion gets his shoulder up and bridges up and pulls the challenger into a pinning position with a back slide. The ref counts 1... 2... kickout!

DiBiase rolls outside the ring and pulls the champion out when he gets too close to the ropes and throws him into the cage. Cedrone gets back to his feet but DiBiase slams him onto the ground and rolls into the ring to break the count before rolling back out. The referee admonishes the challenger, telling him to get himself and the champion back into the ring but DiBiase irish whips the champion into the cage, which draws a chorus of boos from a large portion of the crowd. DiBiase looks out into the crowd before pulling Cedrone back to his feet and throwing him into the ring. Pulling the champion to his feet, DiBiase delivers a standing vertical suplex and pins the prone champion 1... 2... Cedrone gets his shoulder up. Both men get back to their feet and the challenger attempts a back suplex but the champion flips over and lands on his feet, grabbing DiBiase by the waist and pushing him into the ropes, using the momentum of the rebound to roll the challenger into a pin. The ref counts 1... 2... DiBiase pushes Cedrone into the ropes.

DiBiase moves in and Cedrone hits with a knife-edged chop to the midsection and sends DiBiase into the ropes, lowering his head to attempt a back body drop but the challenger sees it coming and kicks the champion in the face. Cedrone reels back and DiBiase takes him down with a chop to the chest. The challenger covers the champion, hooking the leg 1... 2... Cedrone gets his shoulder up. A significant portion of the crowd begin a "JON-NY JON-NY JON-NY" chant while DiBiase scales the turnbuckles, but he's too slow as the champion gets back to his feet and knocks the challenger off balance and his crotch meets the steel of the turnbuckle support.

JOEY STYLES: Each and every male in the audience felt that one along with Scott DiBiase!

P. LICKIN: I had a feeling DiBiase was into the Swollen Members...

Cedrone ascends to the middle turnbuckle and applies a facelock on the challenger, then he grabs his trunks and pulls DiBiase off the turnbuckle into a superplex, both men landing hard on the mat. The champion recovers faster and pulls the challenger back to his feet and kicks him in the midsection. DiBiase doubles over and Cedrone takes him down with the CASH OUT! The ref counts 1... 2... THREE!

*DING**DING**DING*

P. LICKIN: You may as well just hand Cedrone the belt right now, there's no way DiBiase can come back and win two straight falls against the champ!

JOEY STYLES: Ladies and gentlemen, what a match so far! Jonny Cedrone and Scott DiBiase has shown to the entire world just why they’re two of the top dogs in this sport!

P. LICKIN: It’s only the end of the first fall Joey, calm down. It hasn’t been that exciting.

JOEY STYLES: What do you mean it hasn’t been that exciting? We have two of the biggest stars in wrestling today fighting it out like they did back in the day! the only difference is that this time, we have a cell wrapped around the ring and ringside area to modernize it just a bit!

P. LICKIN: "Back in the day?" What do you mean like back in the day?

JOEY STYLES: For years in the wrestling world, every championship match was contested in a best of three falls match, that way we definitely knew who the better man was.

P. LICKIN: Just how old are you?

JOEY STYLES: P, unlike you, I grew up a wrestling fan, I've learned everything there is to know about this sport. I do this job because I love the sport, I love the stories these guys tell in the ring, I love the artwork these guys perform in the ring. I don't do it for the same reason you do, P!

P. LICKIN: Oh yeah? And what would that reason be smart ass!

JOEY STYLES: To pay off your debt to the Mafia and Smart A$$'s mom.

P. LICKIN: I hate you.

*DING*

Cedrone and DiBiase lock up and DiBiase pushes Cedrone into the corner, breaking once the referee counts to two, but Cedrone pushes him away for good measure. DiBiase responds and pushes Cedrone back into the corner and the two competitors stare each other down while the crowd is split on who to support. Cedrone throws a haymaker, but DiBiase blocks it and connects with a haymaker of his own. Cedrone reels back and DiBiase connects with another shot before taking Cedrone to the mat with a headbutt. As Cedrone gets back to his feet, DiBiase grabs his head and rakes it across the top rope, eliciting a shower of boos from the crowd.

P. LICKIN: I knew DiBiase would show his true colours eventually!

DiBiase delivers a punch to the midsection and while Cedrone is doubled over, DiBiase grabs him and dumps him through the middle rope to the floor. DiBiase steps out of the ring and drives Cedrone's face into the wall of the cell. DiBiase delivers a series of punches to Cedrone's midsection and then smashes his head on the apron before rolling him back into the ring and climbing through the ropes himself. DiBiase drives an elbow to the back of Cedrone's neck and then grabs the champion's legs to pull him to the center of the ring. DiBiase looks out into the crowd and drops a knee onto Cedrone's midsection, before pulling the champion back to his feet and delivering a reverse Atomic Drop. Cedrone grimaces from the impact and DiBiase bounces off the rope and hits a knee lift to the champion's head. DiBiase pulls the champion to his feet, but Cedrone thumbs him in the eye and takes the challenger down with a neckbreaker. Back on the offensive, the champion smashes his forearm into the back of DiBiase's head then he picks the challenger up and throws him into the corner.

The champion irish whips the challenger into the opposite corner and DiBiase drops to his knees. Cedrone pulls DiBiase to his feet and irish whips him into the corner, but the challenger knocks the champion to the mat on the rebound. DiBiase pulls the champion off the mat and delivers a suplex in the middle of the ring before going for a cover. The ref counts 1... 2... kickout! Both men pull themselves back to their feet and DiBiase knocks the champion into the ropes with a stiff jab to the midsection, but as the challenger moves in to capitalize the champion kicks him in the midsection and flattens him with a European uppercut. Taking advantage, Cedrone use the ropes for leverage as he steps down on DiBiase's throat to a mixed response from the crowd, breaking off the attack when the ref's count reaches three.

DiBiase tries to use the ropes to pull himself back to his feet, but the champion lends him a hand before sending him straight down to the mat once more courtesy of a bodyslam. Cedrone bounces off the ropes and drops a vicious elbow into the challenger's sternum and makes the cover, failing to hook the leg. The ref makes the count 1... kickout!

JOEY STYLES: The champion may have been able to put this match away had he remembered to hook the challenger's leg!

Cedrone doesn't give DiBiase any chance to recover and locks on a sleeper, applying all of his weight onto the challenger's upper back. The fans are once again split, showing support for both men as DiBiase fights his way back to his feet and breaks the sleeper with a series of shots to the champion's midsection. DiBiase bounces off the ropes but Cedrone nails DiBiase with a knee to the midsection on the rebound, sending the challenger down once again. The champion drops an elbow onto the challenger and makes the cover, once again failing to hook the leg. 1... 2... kickout! Cedrone picks DiBiase up and this time it is the champion who throws the challenger out of the ring. Cedrone returns the favour as he drives DiBiase's head into the cage. Propping the challenger against the cage, Cedrone puts some distance between himself and DiBiase before rushing forward to deliver a splash but the challenger moves out of the way at the last moment. DiBiase reels the champion with a haymaker before delivering an irish whip, but Cedrone reverses the irish whip and sends DiBiase hard into the wall of the cage.

DiBiase grimaces in pain while Cedrone pulls him back to his feet and throws him into the ring. Back in the ring, Cedrone lifts up the prone challenger and throws him into the corner. The champion runs forward but DiBiase lifts his feet up and catches the champion square in the face, dropping him in the center of the ring. DiBiase slowly steps through the ropes and climbs to the top rope but the champion manages to get back to his feet by using the referee for support. DiBiase leaps from the turnbuckle and takes out both the champion and the referee in the process. Both men are down and drag themselves to opposite corners to regain their vertical base, while the referee is slower to regain his bearings. Sensing an opportunity, DiBiase rushes forward and delivers shot after shot to the champion's head and Cedrone staggers back into the corner. The challenger delivers a shot to the champion's midsection and follows it up with a shot to the head to take him off his feet. DiBiase grabs Cedrone's legs and delivers a stomp to the champion's midsection before pulling Cedrone back to his feet. DiBiase hooks Cedrone's leg and falls back with a Russian legsweep and then makes the cover. The ref makes the count 1... 2... THR-KICKOUT!

P. LICKIN: What?! No, that's impossible!

JOEY STYLES: DiBiase is learning the hard way that you just cannot keep the champion down when the World title is on the line!

P. LICKIN: Hard way? The perverts are gonna love that one, Styles!

JOEY STYLES: I know! I've been working with you all these years!

P. LICKIN: And... loving it!

DiBiase picks up Cedrone and takes him down with a side backbreaker and then scales the middle rope. He jumps off but the champion lifts a leg and connects with the challenger's face. DiBiase is down and Cedrone musters all of his strength to get back to his feet and, grabbing DiBiase's legs, he crosses them into a figure four position and forces the challenger onto his stomach and pulls back.

JOEY STYLES: This could be it! Jonny Cedrone is going to beat Scott DiBiase with his own move! Jonny Cedrone has locked in The Maple Leaf!

DiBiase cries out in pain, refusing to tap while he pounds at Cedrone's leg with his fist. Grabbing hold of Cedrone's leg, the challenger forces the champion off balance and sends him face first into the mat, but he doesn't let go of the champ's leg. Dragging Cedrone to the center of the ring, DiBiase quickly applies The Maple Leaf onto the champion and leans back, adding extra pressure by kneeling into the small of the champion's back. Cedrone desperately reaches for the ropes, but he's too far away and DiBiase's weight has him pinned. Making one final effort to reach the ropes, Cedrone screams out in pain and reluctantly taps out.

*DING**DING**DING*

JOEY STYLES: Cedrone tapped out. CEDRONE TAPPED OUT! Whoever thought they'd see that happen? Jonny Cedrone has tapped out, P!

P. LICKIN: I knew Scott would be able to do it! This means we're all tied up now right?

JOEY STYLES: It certainly does, P!

P. LICKIN: We're all knotted up, a win apiece!

JOEY STYLES: That's usually what that means when you have a tie, P.

P. LICKIN: It's just blowing my mind!

JOEY STYLES: What is?

P. LICKIN: The fact that Scott's going to be able to pull this off after all!

JOEY STYLES: Earlier you said that Scott had no chance in getting two wins in a row over the champion!

P. LICKIN: I never said that!

JOEY STYLES: Liar! You did too!

P. LICKIN: Can't prove it!

JOEY STYLES: You're on tape, P.

P. LICKIN: Can't prove it!

JOEY STYLES: You're the smartest man I know.

P. LICKIN: Can't pro...

JOEY STYLES: Now we enter the break as the World champion is feeling the effects of The Maple Leaf.

P. LICKIN: Serves him right! Trying to finish off Scott with his own move.

JOEY STYLES: While the champion's feeling the effects of the Maple Leaf, both men are feeling the effects of the match as a whole. Both men have been putting each other through pure hell through-out the entire match thus far!

P. LICKIN: And for what? Just a leather strap and a big gold... piece... in the mi... I wonder how much that thing would bring on eBay.

JOEY STYLES: P!

P. LICKIN: What?

*DING*

JOEY STYLES: *Sigh* And here we go with the third and final fall of this best of three falls match! Of course, this fall will determine the fate of the VWF World Heavyweight Championship! Will it stay in the hands of the current champion, Jonny Cedrone? Or will we see a brand new champion being crowned yet again at the Royal Rumble event?

They lock up to begin the third and final fall, jockeying for position until the champion backs the challenger into the corner, but DiBiase is quick to turn things around and tie up Jonny Cedrone in the corner, breaking the hold as the ref counts to three. The challenger stepped back toward the middle of the ring and beckons the champion forward. The two men lock up once more but the champion takes control with a knee to the midsection, followed by a belly-to-back takedown but DiBiase reverses and Cedrone wriggles out of DiBiase's grasp and regroups in a neutral corner. Cedrone moves in and applies an arm wrench, but DiBiase pulls him into a standing side headlock and Cedrone attempts a schoolboy but DiBiase maintains his grip and holds the champion to the mat. Cedrone uses his strength to get back to his feet and pushes DiBiase into the ropes, hoping to break the headlock and he sends the challenger across the ring, but DiBiase wrenches back and drives the champion to the mat. Cedrone twists over and the challenger finds his shoulders meeting the canvas as the referee counts 1... 2... DiBiase rolls his shoulder up, keeping the headlock cinched in on the champion.

The champion fights his way back to his feet and finally breaks the headlock, sending DiBiase into the ropes. DiBiase rebounds and Cedrone sends him crashing to the mat with an armdrag takedown. He moves in but DiBiase kicks the champion away and takes him down with another side headlock but Cedrone counters with headscissors and DiBiase quickly kicks out.

P. LICKIN: Don't tell me DiBiase is going to go for another headlock!

JOEY STYLES: That's exactly what he's doing, P!

P. LICKIN: I asked you not to tell me that!

DiBiase tries to pin the champion to the mat by applying his weight to the headlock, but Cedrone rolls the challenger over and bridges his neck for leverage. The ref counts 1... 2... and DiBiase rolls back over. The champion fights his way to his feet and struggles out of the headlock and takes DiBiase to the mat with a back heel trip. The two men get back to their feet and DiBiase is quick to re-apply the headlock and take the champion back down to the mat, wrenching back to add pressure to Cedrone's neck.

JOEY STYLES: DiBiase is relentlessly working on the champion's neck, softening him up to take full advantage of the Million Dollar Dream to score this all important victory.

Cedrone forces his way back to his feet and delivers a pair of punches to the challenger's midsection, driving him into the ropes to break the headlock and sends DiBiase across the ring. The challenger rebounds and the champion drops to the mat as DiBiase rebounds off the other side and Cedrone takes to the mat with an armdrag takedown and applies an armbar to the challenger. Cedrone drops his knee on DiBiase's shoulder and pulls back on the arm before dropping his leg on the challenger's arm. The two men get back to their feet and DiBiase throws the champion into the ropes and takes him down to the mat with a drop toe hold, trying to go for another headlock but Cedrone fights out of it and holds DiBiase to the mat with a hammerlock.

P. LICKIN: Come on! Move it! Don't they realize this is a World title match?

JOEY STYLES: Of course they do, P! Neither man wants to make a mistake and lose this final decisive fall!

DiBiase forces the champion to his feet and drives him into the corner. Cedrone holds his arms up and the ref calls for a clean break but, after hesitating for a moment, DiBiase slugs the champion in the face with his forearm. The challenger follows up with a pair of shoulderblocks and slugs Cedrone again for good measure. That may have just woken the champ up as Cedrone grabs DiBiase and throws him into the corner, slugging the challenger in the face over and over before throwing him to the opposite corner, but DiBiase reverses and sends Cedrone into the corner and rushes forward but the champion grabs the turnbuckle and brings his legs up, which DiBiase catches on his shoulders and Cedrone performs a hurricanrana to throw DiBiase out of the ring.

1... DiBiase pounds the ground in frustration before getting back to his feet, 2... he begins to walk around the ring while the champion watches from inside. 3... DiBiase stops in front of the door to the cell and grabs onto the middle rope and pulls himself onto the apron, before stepping into the ring. DiBiase locks up with Cedrone, who wrenches his arm and takes him down with a fireman's carry and cinches in with an armbar. DiBiase gets to his feet and breaks Cedrone's grip before sending him into the ropes. As the champion rebounds, DiBiase lifts his knee and connects with the champion's gut, dropping him to the canvas. DiBiase grabs Cedrone's legs and drops a knee into his abdomen before dropping a leg across the champion's neck and locking on a headlock. Cedrone forces his way to his feet and reaches up with both hands to grab onto DiBiase's head before dropping to his knees, stunning the challenger. Cedrone pulls DiBiase to his feet and sends him into the ropes, leapfrogging the challenger as he rebounds and attempts a Thesz press when he rebounds again but DiBiase catches him! DiBiase drops Cedrone to the mat and grabs his legs, attempting to lock on The Maple Leaf but the champion quickly scrambles to the ropes and grabs on. Cedrone uses the ropes to pull himself back to his feet but as he turns around, DiBiase rushes forward and clotheslines him over the top rope.

JOEY STYLES: Sending your opponent over the top rope only works in the Royal Rumble match itself.

P. LICKIN: Really? Did you just figure that out?

DiBiase follows Cedrone out of the ring and picks the champion up and delivers a forearm uppercut. He locks the champion in a facelock but Cedrone shoves DiBiase from behind and sends him crashing into the steel ring post. DiBiase reels back and holds himself up with help from the wall of the cell, moving just in time to avoid eating a superkick courtesy of the champion. As Cedrone recovers his balance, DiBiase slugs him in the face and throws him into the ring and follows him in, dropping an elbow across the back of his neck. DiBiase backs off and stalks the champion from behind as he struggles to get back to his feet, but as soon as Cedrone has regained his vertical base, DiBiase locks on the MILLION DOLLAR DREAM... right in the center of the ring. The crowd is fired up, half cheering the challenger on while the other half screaming support for Cedrone, who appears to be fading and drops to one knee. DiBiase can practically taste the World Heavyweight championship and applies more pressure as the referee holds up the champion's arm. He releases it and it falls halfway and the fans begin to stomp their encouragement and the champion forces himself back to his feet. DiBiase cinches in, but Cedrone grabs his head and drops him with a jawbreaker.

JOEY STYLES: This could be the beginning of the end!

P. LICKIN: The End? What show are you watching?

Cedrone pulls the challenger to his feet and throws him, face first, into the turnbuckle. DiBiase rebounds from the impact and drops to his knees, while the champion hits a double axe-handle across his upper back. Picking the challenger up, Cedrone wrenches DiBiase's arm into a wristlock, but DiBiase fights back with a series of right hands before sending the champion into the ropes. The champion rebounds off the ropes and takes the challenger down with a single arm DDT. DiBiase winces as he holds his shoulder and Cedrone takes advantage, dropping knees onto the challenger's shoulder before applying a cross armbar, hyperextending the elbow. DiBiase rolls over until he's on his feet, using the leverage to pin the champion to the mat. 1... 2... Cedrone releases the hold and rolls out the way while DiBiase nurses his shoulder in the corner.

The champion quickly gets to his feet and rushes forward with a shoulderblock to the challenger in the corner, delivering a chop to his chest for good measure. Cedrone slams DiBiase to the mat with a snapmare before backing into the corner and positioning himself to deliver a rolling neck snap. Re-positioning the prone challenger on the mat, Cedrone climbs the middle turnbuckle and drops a fist but DiBiase gets his foot up and the champion gets a face full of the challenger's boot. Cedrone is face down on the mat, writhing in pain while the challenger staggers to pull himself up to his feet. DiBiase grabs Cedrone's legs by the knees and falls back, slingshotting the champion into the ringpost and laying him out in the center of the ring. Summoning all of his strength, DiBiase climbs to the top turnbuckle and leaps to deliver a flying elbow drop, shades of "Macho Man" Randy Savage but the champion rolls out of the way at the last second.

JOEY STYLES: Missed it by that much!

Both men are on the mat as the ref begins to count 1... 2... 3... Cedrone crawls to the ropes 4... DiBiase rolls to one knee, trying to steady himself with one arm 5... 6... Cedrone grabs the middle rope and pulls himself up 7... 8... DiBiase gets both his feet under him and starts to rise 9... Cedrone grabs the top rope and finally pulls himself to his feet just as DiBiase stands up. The champion rushes forward with a clothesline, but the challenger takes him down with a spinebuster and climbs to the top once more, wasting no time to leap off and connect with THE MONEY SHOT! DiBiase hooks a leg as the ref counts 1... 2... THR-KICKOUT! Cedrone barely got his shoulder off the canvas in time and the challenger is wide-eyed with shock and shakes his head. DiBiase picks Cedrone up and backs into the corner, pulling the champion with him as he climbs to the top rope. Placing the champion's head between his knees and hooking both his arms, the challenger drives the champion to the mat with THE PEPSI PLUNGE! The fans are going wild chanting "V-W-F! V-W-F! V-W-F!" DiBiase rolls over and hooks the champion's leg and the ref hits the mat 1... 2... THR-KICKOUT! The fans are screaming with excitement while DiBiase looks almost deflated, mouthing "What do I have to do?"

JOEY STYLES: Is there anything which will keep Jonny Cedrone down?!

P. LICKIN: Anyone have a tranquilizer dart?

DiBiase uses the ropes to pull himself to his feet and positions himself behind the champion, who is slowly recovering the strength to rise to his feet. The fans are clapping and stomping encouragement to the champion, who appears to be on spaghetti legs after being hit with everything the challenger has thrown at him. Sensing the time is right, DiBiase moves in and locks the champion in the Million Dollar Dream but Cedrone fights it! Desperately grabbing at DiBiase's head, the champion looks once more to break the hold with a jawbreaker, but the challenger hooks his leg and drives him forward, face first, into the mat with BROKEN DREAMS! The challenger wastes no time turning Cedrone over onto his back and hooks both legs as the ref makes the count ".1 ..2 ...3!!!"

*DING**DING**DING*

JOEY STYLES: OH MY GOD! HE DID IT! WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION!

P. LICKIN: YES! ABOUT DAMNED TIME!

JOEY STYLES: SCOTT DiBIASE'S DREAM HAS COME TRUE!

P. LICKIN: SO HAS MINE, JOEY! SO HAS MINE!

JOEY STYLES: Can't you let this man have his moment? Alone.

P. LICKIN: Sorry, but does anyone else find it ironic that DiBiase won the match and realized his dream with Broken Dreams?

JOEY STYLES: ...

P. LICKIN: What?

RING ANNOUNCER: The winner of the match... and NEW... VWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION... SCOTT DiBIASE!!

"I Am Perfection" begins to play and the referee hops out of the ring as the cell begins to rise to the rafters and the ring announcer meets him with the World championship belt. He hands over the belt, which the ref takes with him back into the ring. Before he can present the belt to the new champion, he is intercepted by Jonny Cedrone, who takes the belt. The former champion takes a long look at the belt, tears welling up in his eyes as he looks out into the crowd. He takes another long look at the belt before handing it to DiBiase, who slowly reaches out to retrieve it. Jonny extends his hand and the two rivals shake hands in a mutual show of respect. Cedrone pats DiBiase on the shoulder, congratulating him on a hard fought victory and climbs through the ropes as DiBiase holds the belt high to the screaming fans before dropping to his knees, scarcely believing he has actually done it.

JOEY STYLES: Ladies and gentlemen, two dreams have come true this night! Dan Ryan gets his shot at the VWF World Heavyweight championship against this man!
